Prof. Hassan Al-Noamani, President of Sohag University, inspected the final preparations for the building of the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Environmental Research “with credit hours system”, in preparation for the field visit from the Supreme Council of Universities Committee, to determine the material and human capabilities necessary to start studying there, accompanied by prof. Abdel Nasser Yassin and prof. Khaled Omran,Vice Presidents of the University, and a number of engineers from the University’s Engineering Department, in the old campus.
Al-Nomani stressed that faculty of Graduate Studies and Environmental Research will be one of the most important specialized centers and the first of its kind in Upper Egypt to study environmental problems and develop radical solutions to them, in order to achieve sustainable development, adding that the college aims to prepare qualified research and professional cadres to serve society.
